...but the power went out right as I was going to publish. I cannot tell you how frustrated I was. I had just written a TON about my girls day out with Alaina on Saturday...all that we did, what it meant to me, etc. And then, at the end, I was posting and picture and was about to publish the entry and poof. Out goes the power. So sad. So, I haven't had the heart to come back and redo it. I'll see if I get that far today. If not, I promise I will at least post the picture because they are just too cute to keep to myself.
Okay, but first things first. Sweet Margie tagged me...so, I am supposed to write about someone I admire. There are so many people, for so many things. But right now, I 'd say the person I admire most is my sweet Jason. He is far from perfect. He is far from all I think she should be. But he is so much more than I could ask for at the same time. He has qualities that I don't think I will ever possess..he's so incredible patient. He does not get stressed. He enjoys life. He knows how to be a kid and let our kids be kids. He is willing to admit when he is wrong. But most of all, he is just a servant. He will do ANYTHING I ask him to. I cannot remember a time when I asked him to do something and he said no. Never. I have to be careful about this...I don't want to manipulate him. But he is just so giving and so caring. I admire him.
Okay, let's see. What's next. Well, this baby. You know, the one that needs to come out of me? The one I want to meet so badly I can't stand it? I am not being patient about this. I want to deliver this baby soooo much. I'm due in six days but I am so hoping it won't be that long. My doctor is going to let me wait until Monday to see if it happens naturally and then I think he will insist on inducing me. My fluid levels are low, but not dangerous yet. So, since he knows I would rather not be induced again, he is giving me a few more days. Come on, little one.

Wow, I guess I've scrapped a bunch this week. Maybe that's why this baby hasn't come...I should be out walking instead of sitting at my computer desk!
We did do a lot of work yesterday. I finally go to the point where I realized that we really needed to figure out where in the world this baby was going to sleep! We've thrown around quite a few ideas but they all require moving lots of stuff around. Now I have never been one to have the baby in our room. I know some moms LOVE it but really, I just don't. When I have a baby I go on "mommy alert" mode and can hear every sound they make. And babies make a lot of noise. And I am not talking about crying. You can hear that anywhere. But I mean all the turning and breathing and moving. It keeps me up. And then if you don't hear them you worry that something is wrong. That is NOT the way to get any sleep! And anyone who know me knows how PRECIOUS my sleep is to me! Alaina and Caleb were both such GREAT babies. Both got up once or twice a night, ate, and went back to bed. Alaina started sleeping through the night at 7 weeks and Caleb started to at about 8 weeks. We then moved overseas so he took another few weeks to sort himself out but by three and a half months he was good to go. Okay, you can start throwing stuff at me now. Or you can tell me I'm in for it with my third. Or you can tell me what a nightmare THIIS baby is going to be. Go ahead, I've heard it before, and anything is possible. But, I have very strong feelings about this subject so if you care to discuss it you can leave a comment and I'll email you. ANYWAY, the point of this was to say that I don't like having the babies in my room. But, I've given in this time. The main reason? There really is no where else, or at least not yet. Our office could be cleaned out and given to the baby but that is a bigger project than I want to tackle right now. So, I said I'd give it a few weeks and we'll see how it goes. Our bedroom is HUGE and the bed is on the OTHER side of the room, so maybe I won't hear all the noise. Plus, it's easier for Jason to get up and bring the baby to me. Yep, that's right. HE gets out of bed to get the baby and brings it to me. He'll fall right back asleep, so I don't feel bad. I am usually nice, though, and put the baby back to bed. So, in order to do all of this we had to rearrange our room. The only place for the bed the way we had it set up was right under the air-conditioner which we didn't really think was a good idea. So, we moved everything around and I actually like it much better. And, it almost looks like we have a little nursery. Which, I must confess, is more than either of my other two had. Alaina's room was a room/office and Caleb, well, I'm too embarrassed to tell you what we had to do with Caleb. You'll think I'm horrible. But I promise, he survived. And I got some sleep.
Okay, not much time to talk about my wonderful day out with Alaina. Suffice it to say we had SUCH A GOOD TIME. It was a total girls day out and we had a blast! It was SO GOOD to spend some time with her alone before the baby comes. I don't know how long it will be before we can do something like this again. We were out for four hours...we had coffee (well technically, I had chai and she had a bit of my chai mixed with lots of milk.) Then we went and shopped for her new Easter dress and had a blast trying on a bunch of clothes. Alaina LOVES to try on clothes and was totally hamming it up for the camera! After dress shopping we had some lunch (again, at Coffee Bean) and then we went and had our nails done! It was so much fun! Luckily, manicures and pedicures are super-cheap here in Malaysia so I had a full pedicure (like an hour and a half of cleaning, scrubbing, exfoliating, soaking, and polishing) and Alaina got her nails painted (twice, actually, because she didn't sit still long enough to let the first coat dry!) I wish I could say more, but alas, it's ten pm and I need to put my dorm to bed. Have a great day! Here are some pix...
WOW!!! Your pages are amazing!! I love all of them. The bottom one is so precious with all the "day out" photos. I feel exactly like Alaina after a day shopping :) Praying the baby arrives quickly!!

I am glad I read this blog of my DW or I would have not remembered or been prepared that it was my job to get the baby up and bring it to her. Now I have some time to mental prepare for the task.
