..after two years of living in a place where the only way you knew what month it was was by looking at the calendar I have officially lost the ability to keep track of time. It is NOVEMBER. Almost December. We're talking Thanksgiving next week and then CHristmas is on its way. But in MY mind I still can't figure out why there are Christmas ads everywhere and why people can even THINK of spring. I mean come on guys, summer just got over. Or did it? Doesn't it seem like YESTERDAY. I think I have been in a deep cloud of fog for the past few months because I swear it doesn't seem like it could almost be December. I really feel like summer just got done. I guess the good thing in all of this is that since I apparently lost four months in my mind that summer is just that much closer to coming again.
ANYWAY...nothing too grand to report. I've been having fun with my new camera and have been enjoying time just hanging out with the family. Jason and I have had some really good talks lateley. I just wish they didn't have to be at 11:00 at night. Oh well. It has been so good to remember how much we are alike in how we view life, family, and ministry. We feel passionately about things and for hte most part, we see eye-to-eye on everything. Not that we don't argue ever, but we sure don't argue over importnat things. When it comes to real isues in life, we are one in the same. And I love that. I am a lucky, lucky gal.
On a side note about my hubby, he is down 28 pounds! He looks sooo good! I can't believe how fast it has come off (I think we are into week 7). I, on hte other hand, am only down 10 pounds, but with nursing I guess I can't complain. But man, to average four pounds a week. I would be DONE! But, I am sooo proud of Jason and he just looks so different. His pants are hanging off of him and his shirts fit.
Today is a beautiful, sunny (but freezing) day. I'm content to enjoy it by looking out my window. I am not a big fan of cold. But the kids seem to enjoy it and are outside playing. The dorm girls are going to a hockey game tonight so we will head out for some dinner and maybe a little shopping. It will be good to have some family time!
Yesterday Levi turned seven months. It is hard to believe it has gone so fast! Here are some pix from the day:
And...I did his seven month LO!
I was showing a friend of mine all of his month-by-month LO's and I remembered that I had never done his 3 month LO. So I did that at 6:30 this morning when Levi thought it would be good to be up on the ONE morning of the week I can sleep in.
Alrighty then, gotta go. Kids need me, the house needs cleaned, and I need to eat. Have a great Saturday!
Great pics - love his 7 montyh LO! Love the ruler type look along the side! Have a good dinner tonight!
