Betcha' Didn't Know (part 2)

1. One of my very favorite foods is peanut butter and bacon on toast.

2.  I go through at least three 2-Liters of diet Pepsi Jazz (black cherry and vanilla) every week.

3.  Tuna is the last food I would ever put in my mouth.  I would probably let myself starve before putting tuna anywhere near my mouth.

4. I eat my steak rare.

5. I like ketchup with my french fries.  Unless they are from McDonald's -- McDonald's fries are perfect plain.

6.  When we were in Malaysia, we could get food for our whole family for under US$5 -- including happy meals and a McFlurry.

7. I have never read a Harry Potter book or seen any of the movies.  Just not my kind of thing.

8.  I hate all fantasy, science fiction, and otherwise "totally not possible" books and movies.  I didn't even like the Chronicles of Narnia.

9.  I majored in psychology and am one class shy of a certificate in youth ministry.

10.  I transferred colleges after my freshman year...so glad I did.

11. During my freshman year at college, I never once learned the name of my R.A.

12. I love cemeteries.

13. When I was in high school, I used to talk about my funeral all the time.

14.  My favorite book is A Chance to Die by Elisabeth Elliot.

15. A close second is No Compromise by Melody Green.

16.  For a novel, Lords of Discipline by Pat Conroy gets my vote. It is the only book that I have ever finished and then immediately read again.

17.  I like washing dishes by hand but for some reason always put it off.

18.  I would rather do cleaning than straightening up.  Clutter overwhelms me so I avoid it.

19.  I don't really like music. I don't mind it, but I rarely choose to listen and almost never purchase it.  I like quiet too much.

20. I always wished I knew how to play the piano.

21. I have only had bangs (or "fringe" for you non-Americans) for four years of my life -- from 2nd - 6th grade.  I can't imagine ever having them again.  I hate having hair in my face.

22. I am allergic to most soaps. I use shampoo to wash my body and I try to always have anti-bacterial gel with me so I can avoid using soap in public restrooms.

23. I got Amoebic Dysentery when I was in India.  It was the sickest I have been in my whole life.

24.  The hospital I went to was by far the worst place I have ever been.  I won't even begin to describe how unhygienic it was.  Not all hospitals in India are like that...I gave birth to Alaina two years later in a wonderful Indian hospital.

25.  We didn't know the sex of any of our babies before we had them.

26.  I was 95% sure I was having a girl with Alaina.

27.  I was 75% sure I was having a boy with Caleb.

28.  I was 85% sure I was having a GIRL with Levi.  Whoops.  Good thing I didn't shop ahead of time.

29.  I wear a size 8.5 shoe.

30.  When I was little, my mom told me that when my feet stopped growing I could own more than a few pairs of shoes.  I think I went a little overboard.  The highest count I remember from high school was 53 pairs.

31.  Now I own seven or eight pairs, at least 5 of which are flip flops.

32. When I was in college, my dad bought me a car as an early graduation gift.  To his dismay, I chose a flair-sided Ford Ranger pick-up.  It was black and I LOVED it. We sold it when we went to India.

33.  I love roses but I think baby's breath is tacky.

34.  In India I could by roses for 10 cents a piece.  Gerbera daisies were only a few cents more.  I always had fresh flowers in my house.

35.  I have to sleep with one foot out of the covers. 

36. One of my most embarrassing moments was in the first grade and I wet my pants during snack time (someone forgot to switch the STOP sign on the bathroom door to GO and so I was waiting and waiting).  The kids starting laughing and I told them my apple was leaking.  Not apple juice, my apple.  LOL!

37. We always eat spaghetti on Christmas Eve.  I've done it since I was a little girl.

38.  I don't remember every believing in Santa.

39. I CANNOT eat without having a napkin in my hand.  I think it comes from years of table training and not being able to start eating without a napkin in my lap.

40.  I have never gotten a speeding ticket. I have been pulled over three times, none of which were really deserved.  I haven't been pulled over in 10 years.

41. I have been in two car accidents, but I wasn't driving either time.

42. I love driving a stick shift (manual transmission).

43. The first thing I do when I get up in the morning is put my hair into a messy ponytail. 

44. I used to collect frogs (figurines, not real ones).

45.  I did catch real ones one time -- I caught like 50 of them and had them all in one tank.  It was gross -- there were eggs everywhere.  Then they started disappearing.  I finally found at later my brother (boy that he is) was playing a game -- 101 ways to kill a frog.

46. I shoplifted in elementary school.

47.  I also got caught smoking a cigarette in third grade.

48.  I don't swim in water that is less than 80 degrees F.

49.  After seven years I still don't know my parents phone number by heart.

50.  I get to eat at Fazoli's today :)

Sorry I didn't return blog comments yesterday.  I was trying to stay off the computer.  Thanks for making me feel better about my sill indulgences.  And LOL to all those trying to put baby #4 in my arms :)

ALL of these were a suprise to me in one way or another! I love all the facts - I do not know how you come up with them. I am jealous of the fazolis today - LOVE IT!

Wow how very random! LOL! But interesting too! I will have to try doing this sometime, but I'm really horrible at those kinds of things, so we'll see. I think my favorite is: you don't like music but then you wished you had learned to play piano-LOL! That sounds like something I'd say-haha! Although I do actually like music (good thing since I majored in it!).
