I woke up Alaina this morning and she opens her eyes, looks at me, and exclaims, "I'm five!" She then asked, "Am I taller?" LOL!
So, my little girl is five today. That means I have been mama for five years. They have been the best five years of my life. Being a wife and mom is all I ever dreamed of doing. Even through some really tough years in my life when I didn't think I could go on any more, I would dream of the family I would have some day and I would resolve to keep going. To keep waiting. To keep preparing to be the mom I wanted to be.
So five years ago this amazing little girl helped my dream come true. I won't bother typing out the whole story again....I did it last year for the blog. You can read it HERE.
