We're sick...
The coughs and colds that have been going around have finally hit our home. Not fun. The kids are doing okay on some over-the-counter cough medicine but I am beyond that point and am going to try to get an appointment today. I really don't have time to be sick and I definitely don't have time to be up in the night coughing and dealing with a sore throat. So, let's hope a little medicine is on the way. I'll keep an eye on the kids and if they get worse I'll bring them in in the next day or so.
Katelynn goes to the doctor today, too. A little early for her two week check up but there are a few things I am concerned about and we are seeing a new doctor so I just decided to go in today. It will be good to check on her weight, too, since she still isn't that interested in eating.

Thankfully our weekend went really well. The long days with the dorm boys can sometimes be hard (on them and on us) but they did so well. It was the first weekend that we made it through without some major incident. So as a way to congratulate them we stopped at Dunkin' Donuts on the way home from church. It is so great to be able to reward them for good behavior!

I actually scrapped last night! It was my first page in two weeks! It felt so good. I tried to do a second but nothing was coming to me so I didn't force it.

I hope you guys don't stay sick over there - that is horrible with a new baby. Our two older girls had bronchitis when we came home with Gracyn. Ugh. I will pray for quick recoveries over there!

Glad you had a good weekend and yes it is really good to be able to award good behavior. Looking back at my kids growing up I wish I had done more of that! But they always say that 'hindsight is 20/20'! lol

oh janet she is so precious and i'm so happy for you and your family. i was reading your previous posts and was thinking how blessed little katelynn is to be part of your family.
