Doesn't Everyone do this??

I don't know ANYONE who doesn't like a good chocolate chip cookie dipped in ketchup!  LOL!

This kid just cracks me up.  He is always up to something.  It usually involves antagonizing someone (Caleb is his favorite target), trying to make people laugh, or showing off all his new words as he asserts his will. His vocabulary is exploding...but he seems to save his new words for just the right time.  He seems to wait until it looks like he won't get his way on something and then he'll spout off a new word and while we are still standing there with our jaws on the floor he is happily engaged in whatever activity we had said no too.  Smart little kid :)

Well, the sickies are still here.  And now Jason is enjoying them.  I had to kick him out of the room last night.  I figured we were both having enough trouble trying to sleep through my coughing, his snoring, and Katelynn's feedings.  I didn't really want to add in Jason's violent coughing to mix so I told him the couch was waiting for him.  It was quite humorous as we split up the small pharmacy we have going...cough and cold medicine, kleenex, cough drops, and Vick's Vapor rub.  The plan seemed to work -- I only woke up coughing once and it was time to feed anyway.  So other than the hour that I was up (couldn't go back to sleep) I actually got a fairly decent nights sleep. 

It's probably a good thing that it is raining today.  It is our family day and we usually like to go out and do something but we really could use a day at home.  My to-do list is a mile long and we have guests coming on Saturday so it will be good to make that list a little shorter.  I am sure we will head out at some point, but no major plans at this point.

And, is it me or does it seem like EVERYONE is having babies right now!  I know so many people who have had babies (or will have babies) in just a few month span.  While I was lying there awake last night I was trying to count how many people that I know who have just had a baby or will have one soon.  I lost track at about 20!  Crazy!

And speaking of babies...mine is two weeks old today.  Does anyone know how to stop time???  How can the last month (or two!) or pregnancy go SOOOOOOOO slow and then after the birth time goes by at lightening speed?? Doesn't seem fair!

Sorry you guys are still sick. It's awful, I know, 'cause I had it for 2 weeks. Hope you get lots of rest today and get well soon.

(And, yes, everyone else--except me, thank goodness--either has a new baby or is pregnant. It's crazy how it comes in waves like this!)

When my Abby was about Levi's age, she would eat anything, along as she had something else to dip it in. She wasn't picky - ketchup, applesauce, ranch dressing, etc., as long as it was 'dippable.'

He sounds like my 2nd son, he will not do anything you want to do when you want him to do it, but give him half a second and he'll do it on his own terms and then do something else just to boot! And he loves playing to the "crowd" so I know I've got a comedian in the works too!

Hope the sickies go away soon! Put some of that Vicks on your feet and put some socks on, it really does help! I have no idea why!!!

I too have heard the Vicks on feet with socks bit - good tip from Sprauncey! Cute picture - looks yucky though - LOL! Enjoy your day and I hear you on slowing down time!
