Levi is one of our "go-go's." Anytime that ANYONE wants to go ANYWHERE, Levi is ready to go. All you have to do is say the word, "go" and Levi is running to get his shoes. He is always up for the next adventure, or even the next trip to the mailbox. He just wants to go, go, go.
But there are some places he just CAN'T go. Having a two year old at Tuesday night chapel is not a good thing. Levi attempting to play tennis with the dorm boys is not a good thing. And yet, if someone tries to leave without him he cries so hard he can barely breath. It doesn't last long, but it is heartbreaking to watch! And so we have resorted to trickery, bribery, or just plain genius ;)
Every time Jason has to leave for somewhere Levi can't go, Jason just says the word popcicle to Levi. Levi RUNS to the freezer, grabs the color of his choice, and then runs out the front door to the place where he has been told to eat all his popcicles (the great outdoors are a much better place for all the dripping to land than my kitchen floor!). In the meantime, Jason slips out the back door and Levi is none-the-wiser. It's a perfect plan and it makes for one happy (and messy!) two year old.
He is so cute I want to eat HIM!
Ahhh...everyday moments that make this mothering job oh-so-worth it!
Happy Wednesday.

Janet,
I read your blog faithfully. I always look forward to seeing your beautiful children and to your thoughts about faith and life in general.
Keep up the fight.

Janet that is adorable!! I will have to keep that in mind for my 2-1/2 year old who is the SAME way... wants to go along with anyone that's going somewhere. :) Your children are adorable!
