Since my camera is a fairly permanent appendage, I decided I needed to girlie it up a bit. I am sure that there is nothing wrong with the lovely Canon strap that comes with the camera, but since pink and black make such a nice combination, I decided that this was a much better option.
I got this one from a gal on Etsy. She has a lot of really cool options that you can check out HERE. The strap is 50 inches long which makes it really nice if you want to wear it across your body. She will make them shorter, though, if you would prefer.
So, Mother's Day. Our dorm boys are home this weekend so it will be nice to just hang out as a family. I told Jason I don't need anything for Mother's Day since I bought my new lens, but I am sure that I will still get some gifts from the kids. Jason has come up with traditional gifts from each of the kids...things I get every year. Alaina gets me a coffee gift card, Caleb takes me out to lunch at Pizza Hut, Levi gets me a mug, and I am sure that Katelynn will come up with something sweet to give me :)
Actually, what I really want more than anything, is to get some pictures of all six of us. We don't have any. I guess I need to break out the tripod and timer and see what we can do!
And speaking of Mothers, have you seen this kit over at SBG? This is our IMPRESSIONS OF MOTHERHOOD collab kit (including three templates by me).
No other big plans for the weekend. It is supposed to be 90 degrees so the pool should be warm enough to take Katelynn for her first dip. Then maybe I will need to redo this LO:

Oh haha--I actually have one of those straps on my wish list...purely for style though since I can't wear a strap!! I looooooove how cute they are though!!!!
