I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for the overwhelming outpouring of love and support as we begin on this new adventure. It is so comforting to know that we go out with love and prayers.
A few more details to answer some questions:
Jason will be teaching PE and serving as athletic director at Bandung Alliance International School (BAIS). Officially, we will be serving as missionaries under the Network of International Christian Schools (NICS). Bandung is about two and a half hours from Jakarta.
I will be home with the kids for the most part, but I plan on helping out at the school when I can, being a part of the parent association, and supporting Jason in whatever way I can. Alaina will be attending Kindergarten at the school and Caleb, if he can figure this whole potty thing out, will be in preschool 4.
We are looking into visa issues to see if I will be able to continue with my template business. Of course I am HOPING to, but we need to do things the legal way ;)
Once our appointment with NICS is official (ie signing papers, etc) then we can begin to raise support for outgoing expenses. These funds will go towards flights, shipping, passports, house set up, etc.
We leave in 19 days for our two week orientation session is Southhaven, Mississippi. Southhaven is right outside of Memphis and the moment I found that out and found out that we were for sure going, I contacted the fabulous Shari Barnes and she is going to do some family photos for us while we are there. I am SO excited!

We just did our last weekend with the boys. The next two weekends they go home for a few days. We have a lot to do the in 17 days until they leave! Oh boy...
******
Today Jason and I get to go on a date! We almost never get to do this. But I took some photos for a friend last week and so they are treating us to lunch and WATCHING OUR KIDS! Yea! We are going to Olive Garden (I have only been there once!) and then Jason has finally agreed to the his and hers pedicures I keep trying to talk him into. He says he is just going for the massage chair ;) Here is the sweet family I took pictures for:

Here is the whole gang. Getting nine people in a photo and all paying attention (somewhat!) is a tricky thing!

And here is a sweet one of their boy that I love. I love how all the attention is on him!

Happy Monday! And be sure to check out this months grab bags!

Oh, love the photo of B's! Please give them a giant hug for me. The little guy looks so much like daddy - wow! And the sad thing is, I'm old enough to remember that!!!! :)

Congratulations on your new adventure! NICS seems to be an awesome org to work for. I went to Grad school with Joe Hale's sister and a lot of their teachers (at Liberty), they were all exceptional people. I will pray that God will bless this move and journey abundantly.
I'll also pray you can keep up your template business...I soooo love the June Supersize...I had to scrap immediately after opening it! Blessings...cheryl

I have a friend who was with NICS in Korea. Sounds like a great organization and an amazing adventure for all of you. Wishing you the best!

My heart is just thrilled for you guys. I know your heart is already there & I am praying that you are able to raise the funds quickly!
(and selfishly, I'm praying that you can continue your template business...I don't know what I'd do without my Janet fix!)
Love you bunches!

I'm with the others - I hope that the Visa situation will work out for you so that we can keep enjoying your templates. (Which by the way - TOTALLY ROCK!)
Good luck!
