I've never made homemade lemonade before...but I can assure you I will do it again. Alaina and I had girls night part two last night (more on part one later) and we were at home. We had already finished mommy/daughter mani and pedis, so we decided we wanted to get into the kitchen. I had been dreaming about a really good glass of lemonade for a few days, so I figured, why not?
I looked for a recipe online and found this one at elise.com/simplyrecipes. Looked simple enough!
Fresh squeezed lemons (we used a hand juicer which is good for little ones to help with), a few ice cubes, a sprig of mint = a tiny bit of perfection on a Wednesday afternoon.
Throw in a gorgeous girl and that piece of perfection just got a whole lot bigger.
how fun and what a "sweet" memory!

Oh yeah! We do this every day! It is very Peruvian to have lime-ade, and my kids can make it themselves. Can't get much better than that! :)
So yummy!
