I am busy getting organized...getting ready...getting excited. I know homeschooling will have its hard days but right now I can't help but smile when I think about the decision we have made for this year. Adventures await. And so do books. Lots and lots of amazing books.
So as I eagerly await August 10 to come (that is the day Jason goes back to work...until then we will soak up all the family time we can) I will just keep thinking, and planning, and dreaming, and praying, and imagining all that is ahead of us. It will be an exciting journey. Of that I am sure.
I Can imagine your excitement... Evem though it'a a lot of work, that's something you wanna do! Something you feel you're capable of and will be good for your family.
That's how I'm feeling right now... As I made the decision of taking over the house choirs by myself. Here, just like in Indonesia, It's very commom for families to have help at home... But I think that's the path I want to take right now...
Am excited to see what's next! :)

Oh, yes, the excitement of homeschooling...and all those BOOKS!!! In fact, even five years into it now...each new school year's beginning is even more exciting and anticipated than the last! Being at home with our children (and being their teacher) is the greatest blessing....EVER! May He bless you for your decision and your loving efforts!

YAY! I'm excited too! I can't wait to get all our books for this year! All our books are waiting for us in the US and I am flying back there in less than 3 weeks to get them!
I am a book addict.
Homeschooling is the BESTEST best thing I've ever done! I've never learned so much! Not to mention I think it's good for the kids too ;) We will start the 2nd week in September.
