We've lived in Indonesia for two years and yet we had never made the time to go see the very popular angklung show. The angklung is a musical instrument made of bamboo...each piece places a different note and the end result is just beautiful.
The show was fantastic...there was music, dancing, and a chance for all of us to try the angklung. I love getting to experience a little more of the culture here and helping our kids understand where they live.
How I used to love enjoying cultural events and every day life when I lived abroad.
Just wanted to let you know there is an award for you at http://traininghappyhearts.blogspot.com/2010/08/award-and-giveaway.html

Hi Janet,
Just wanted to say that you have a lovely blog, and that I found you through the daily digi podcast. I remember when you were on as a guest before, but I forgot to go and check your blog after that. I'm so glad you were on again. I live in Japan, so I can kind of relate to your living in Indonesia. Anyway, I also love your templates at Sweet Shoppe Designs and am just about to go over there and buy up a few so I can get to work on our summer trip photos. It's just what I need. Now, to choose 20 photos from the 160 we took during this 3 day trip. Can we say overkill?

Totally sounds like me -- I take SO many pictures everywhere we go. But at least with digital, it is free. I just wish I were better about deleting ones I dont want!
Thanks for finding me!
Janet

I will be going to your templates for sure as i learn how to do all of this. I also looked back through your blog and so appreciate all of it. It looks like you have a sweet family. I love your posts about God, i am a follower of Christ, my husband is a pastor of a small church. I appreciate all you have shared and look forward to following your blog. May God Bless you in all things and in many ways.

I wanted to add that I really like some of the features of your blog, specifically the two photo albums of your Project 365 and your lay outs. This inspired me to figure out to make some similar additions to my blog, as I just started doing Proj 365 myself! I don't mean to be a copycat or anything, but thank you!

I had passed by your blog several times to look for a new posting, then today, I noticed you had updated your pictures for the year. Congratulations to you and Jason and the rest of the family on your future new arrival! I hope you are feeling well Janet!
